After returning from CMA Fest, I was on such a writing high that I wanted to find another job as soon as possible, and thankfully I found Patch. My boss was essentially a one-man band, editing and writing most of the site’s original content himself, so he was equally thankful to have some help!

Whiz Kids

This weekly series highlighted some of Geneva’s outstanding students and was so much fun to write, from interviewing an 8-year-old starring in the local production of “Annie” to gaining national exposure for a story on a young woman’s advocacy for fellow food allergy sufferers.

Icons for Sale

Writing about some of Geneva’s iconic buildings being sold to make way for new development was challenging and unlike anything I’d ever done before, but I’m incredibly proud of the results.
